Sweepstakes runs from September 26th to October 17th at 5:00 pm (ÒEntry PeriodÓ). All entries must be received by October 17th at 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. Eligibility is limited. See restrictions below. The Sponsors of this promotion are the Orlando Sentinel (OSC) and International Diamond Center, HoulihanÕs and Amway Arena. Void where prohibited. The geographical scope of this promotion is the following Florida counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Volusia, and Lake.
HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. To enter, obtain an official entry form inside the Orlando Sentinel on September 26th, 27th, 29th and October 3rd , 4th , 8th , 10th , 11th , & 13th. Complete the official entry form and return to one of the following Central Florida International Diamond Center locations:
To be eligible to win, the entry form must be filled in completely. Only official entry forms must be used. No mechanically reproduced entries accepted.
All entries must be received by October 17, 2008, at 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. Entrants may only win once during the Sweepstakes period. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, delayed, misdirected, illegible or incomplete entries or for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in online operations or transmission. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned. Information submitted on the entry form may be used for promotional or other purposes by Sponsors and their affiliates. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
GRAND PRIZE (1): $250 Gift Card to International Diamond Center, $100 Gift Certificate to HoulihanÕs, & Two (2) tickets to Neil Diamond at Amway Arena on October 28th (APR $500)
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Limit one prize per household. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and may not be extended, transferred or substituted, except that Sponsors may substitute a prize of equal or greater value when necessary, as determined in their sole discretion. Applicable federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of Winner.
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to U.S. citizens or permanent legal U.S. residents (green card) who are at least 18 years old and reside in one of the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Volusia or Lake. Employees of Orlando Sentinel Communications and International Diamond Center and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents, and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouse, parents and children.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: Subject to the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules, the entrants whose names are randomly selected on October 17, 2008 or at a reasonable time thereafter will be awarded the prizes. Winners will be notified by telephone using the phone number listed on the entry form. If Winner cannot be reached immediately, a message will be left. Winner must return phone call within a 48-hour period. Sponsors' inability to contact a winner or the failure by winner to return phone call within a 48-hour period will result in disqualification. As a condition of receiving the prize, each winner must execute an affidavit of eligibility and release sent by OSC, which, among other provisions, releases, holds harmless and indemnifies the Orlando Sentinel, International Diamond Center and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents, and a range of affiliates and suppliers, from any and all liability, damages or causes of action related to this Sweepstakes or to the use or acceptance of a prize. The properly completed affidavits must be received by the Orlando Sentinel within 14 days of the date on the Winner notification letter. Failure of Winner to properly complete and return this form within 14 days will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Winner will be required to provide taxpayer information, including social security number and driverÕs license and may be required to sign other legal documents or provide additional proof of eligibility. In the event that the winner declines the prize, cannot be contacted, or is disqualified or otherwise determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing. The alternate winner must satisfy all eligibility requirements.
MISCELLANEOUS: Entrants agree to be bound by these rules. Sponsors are entitled to interpret these rules as needed and their decisions are final and binding. Sponsors are not responsible for any printing, human or other errors, and Sponsors reserve the right to correct any and all errors in advertising, rules, and any other promotional materials. Sponsors may cancel or terminate this Sweepstakes promotion if, for any reason beyond their control, the promotion is not capable of being run fairly or securely. In such event, Sponsors will conduct a drawing to award the prizes using all entries received as of the time of cancellation, termination, modification or suspension. Sponsors are not responsible for theft or destruction of or unauthorized access or alterations to any materials; for technical, network, telephone, computer on-line systems, server, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind; or for human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web Site. Sponsors also are not responsible for any injury or damage to any computer, modem or other electrical device as a result of participation in this Sweepstakes.
