This domain is not a news site. Between 2007 and 2019 it was the static-asset host behind a Central Florida newspaper — the address that served interactive graphics, data-journalism applications, Flash features and contest-rules pages that were embedded in articles published elsewhere. It carried no articles of its own.
The domain lapsed. In 2023 it briefly served an unrelated three-page gambling site, and it sat parked after that. It is now held privately and used for one purpose: so that the links still pointing here from news archives, forums and reference pages resolve to an explanation instead of a dead end or a casino page.
Reconstructed from the Internet Archive’s capture index: 828 distinct addresses — 425 page paths and 403 asset files — returned real content during the 2007–2019 period. Counting the query-string variants that old links actually used, that is 3,074 URLs in all.
Standalone news graphics, D3 maps, timelines and photo comparisons, published between 2011 and 2015.
Server-side apps: crime and arrest maps, foreclosure data, restaurant inspections, school test scores, traffic and fuel-price feeds, and the basketball story archive.
Adobe Flash features. The .swf format has been unplayable in browsers since 2020; the files survive only as archive copies.
Official-rules pages for reader promotions, 2008-2013.
A restaurant-offer microsite.
Campaign splash pages.
Section and partner logo files.
Three addresses — /amp.html, /config.json and everything under /assets/ — belong to the 2023 gambling page, not to the newspaper era. They are deliberately served as 410 Gone so that search engines drop them permanently. Nothing has been rebuilt at those addresses.
